We are challenging ourselves to developing new opportunities as we now move into the second quarter in this year. My continuing theme for this year is: GOD IS TEACHING US TO DELVE AS WE GO FORWARD IN 2012. In light of this, there are some complimentary themes to this main emphasis: Going Deeper in the Word of God; Grounded and Possessed by Love for God; Motivated to Penetrate the World for God. I want to encourage you to visit all the pages on this site as it will be very provocative to your growth in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus.The newest part of the web site is to be observed at the BLOG icon above where virtually daily, I am making adjustments and updates. There have been some remarkable developments in terms of vastly increased amounts of visitors on this site and in going to the BLOG section again where it identifies visitors, I have added some vital information about this. To all the new people on our site, please visit the links as well as there are some quite amazing developments with our relationship base among them, and please send us your comments as we can always stand either the encouragement or suggestions to make us better..As part of the new developments on this site, I am thrilled that we can feature this video section below and be sure to take a prayerful and deep look at each one. For some time now, I have referred to a gentleman who has been a source of limitless blessing to me in the establishing of the Eden Leadership Foundation, and now it is time to speak about him publicly as his name is Rudi Schneider. He is a young man with a kingdom vision, and is in a totally Christ-centred relationship with his wife Kelly. They have two beautiful children named Emmanuel and Arial and are running orchards in partnership with others in the Somerset West part of South Africa. Tithe is given from that business into this Foundation, for which many thousands of children in particular have been blessed.

EDEN Leadership Foundation has been conceived to be a good faith conduit between the back-line of academic, spiritual, social and financial resources and the coalface of dynamic, resourceful and accountable ministries in the community making a difference in people who want to break an impoverished lifestyle.
 
This vision calls for unambiguous support through ELF making it possible for ministries of proven integrity to be relieved from the endless pursuit of finding support of any kind, releasing them for their all-important loving service to be thoroughly energized. The lack of support has been a noose around too many ministry necks. 

We believe that we are in a unique position to provide an inspired and well-planned solution to societal dilemmas in our region. A study done in the USA recently clearly and unequivocally proved that Leadership Foundations show greater signs of development in smaller cities than in larger cities. As a developing city and region, we are in total symmetry with this conviction.     
 
Our goal is to give particular attention to the poor, the vulnerable and marginalized by serving as a civil and spiritual catalyst to bring about a renaissance of the human spirit within communities of need through the power of Christ’s indwelling Holy Spirit.
 
Eden Leadership Foundation is aptly named as it is derived from being in the center of the Eden District, so described because it is in one of the most beautiful areas in our world. The Foundation has been carefully structured to address the social, spiritual and physical pain in this paradise.

 
WORK

 

Even though the Foundation work is to connect resources with needs, we have stated that our primary initial goal is to connect leaders. The avenue we have activated that is through one-on-one contact systematically, and the gathering of small groups together on an informal basis. Most recently, we are addressing the dilemma of unemployment, particularly among the younger generation through a cooperative with government and quasi-government groups called REAL LIFE ENTERPRISES. This is designed to stimulate and release small business development through strategic planning but mostly by identifying strategic players. In that regards, we walk with business leaders who care to become engaged in this mentoring process.

As resources do accumulate, different authentic groups from what we call the “communities of need” will become the benefactors for properly motivated requests for funding. It will then be incumbent upon them to give monthly reports of what the blessing is actually doing.

 
We are also hosting and connecting leaders of significance to promote the economic development of this region. This is giving rise to another part of the vision of ELF, becoming the catalyst for what we will call the EDEN Institute for Public Policy, which is designed to become a local think tank on issues affecting our region. We are also in a position to utilize our network for what we call the EDEN FOREIGN AFFAIRS FORUM. This is designed to break the logjam of small-minded thinking prevalent in our region and make interested people become aware of the real world we live in.
